Winds are west this morning about 15mph. Its slowly cleaning up through the morning.
Look for winds to rotate more offshore out of the NW later today cleaning the surf zone up.
We have a low tide at 11:46 a.m., and a high tide at 5:56 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 8.5 ft. ft. at 7 seconds in south-south/west wind swell.
Surf is beginning to shape up this Sunday morning in the Folly area. Currently seeing some waist+ surf. Winds are currently beginning to be more favorable and starting to look fun. As the wind becomes more offshore the swell will begin its fading trend today into tomorrow. Looking long-range high pressure does return for the work week. Not much action for Folly although another Cold front looks to approach following Thanksgiving for another round of quick south-wind-swell. We will keep you posted.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will build across the area through Tuesday. A cold front will move through Wednesday night, followed by high pressure. Another front will move through next weekend.”
Its 52* with sun this morning. Look for a great beach day with a high of 61* and sun.
