Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Saturday, Nov. 30 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at Folly this morning is knee high. It’s pretty small this morning.

Winds are dead calm this morning surf zone is a sheet of glass early.

Look for winds to be light and variable today.

High tide will be at 10:30 a.m., and low tide will be at 4:30 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading a predominantly east swell 3.6 ft. at around 11 seconds. This swell has a high angle on it.

Small east swell in the water to start your weekend. It does look like enough to push the logs this morning but wouldn’t expect much. Sunday we see a approaching cold front bringing strong SW winds and building conditions throughout the day belly high by days end. Unfortunately the timing is not looking favorable as the front looks to push through overnight Saturday and rotate our winds offshore. Hopefully their will be leftovers for Monday mornings incoming tide push. Best bet to get wet is Sunday and Monday for the next 7 days. High pressure looks to settle itself again throughout much of the work week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail with dry weather today. A cold front will then move through Sunday with some rain followed by cooler high pressure through the middle of next week. Another storm system late next week could bring a bit more rain.”

It’s nice and sunny at the beach this morning, with a temp of 52*. Look for sun coming from behind clouds today, and a high of only 66*.

Water temperature is now 58*

Sunrise is at 7:02 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:13 p.m.
