November 5th Pier

Good morning folks, this is Easy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for November 5th at 8:30 am.

Waves at the pier are running around the knee-waist high this morning and look super fun for a log or mid-length session. If you have a window to surf this morning, then I would pack up and send it brother! Not a ton of texture on the waves from wind as the winds are scheduled to stay low today, and over all just looks like it could be a lot of fun to start the Wednesday off with.

Winds are 5 kts out of the SE. Winds slowly increase to about 10 kts as the day expires.

Low tide is at 1:22 pm, and the high tide follows at 7:28 pm.

Edisto Buoy is reading 3.0 ft at 9 seconds from the E.

Our friends over at NOAA predict that a “High pressure will largely prevail throughout the period, keeping conditions quiet across our area. Outside of this, expect a dry cold front to pass overhead Thursday, with perhaps a second one taking aim at the region Saturday. Thus, not a whole lot of good new for us needy surf rats on the east coast, but today sure looks fun so take advantage.

It’s 59* and sunny this morning. Today expect a high of 68* with sunshine and a touch of wind.

Sunrise was 6:42 a.m. Sunset 5:26 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
