Wave Forecast: knee high
Traffic: none

Dangers: none

Good morning, this is Scott with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Saturday, November 13 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at The Washout is shin – knee high. It looks drained out at the low tide but later with the incoming tide there could be a small wave.

Winds are west at 3 knots, and the surf zone is clean.

Look for west winds to reach no higher than 6 knots all day.

It is almost low tide (9:01 a.m.), and high tide will be at 3:33 p.m. The next low tide will be at 9:36 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is reading 2.7 ft at 7 seconds in a medium period east/south-east wind swell.

Yesterday was the day to make, but if you missed out this afternoon could still be fun. It won’t have nearly the size, but you should be able to get some rides on a bigger board. Keep your eyes on the cams when the tide starts to come in because it all depends on if the leftover swell remains until high tide. Either way it is a gorgeous day on Folly Beach.

Your National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast for our area calls for: “A weak cold front will sweep across the area today. High pressure will prevail through the rest of the weekend. A strong cold front will pass through the region late Sunday night. In the wake of this front, cool and dry conditions will linger through mid-week.”

It’s 55* and sunny. Look for a high of 71* today with sun all day.

Water temperature is going down. It’s now 60*.

Sunrise is at 6:49 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:21 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
