clean

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: waist-stomach high
Traffic: none
Parking: filling up at the washout
Dangers: none

Good morning, this is Scott with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, November 21 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at The Washout is waist – stomach high. It is clean and the set are rolling through.

Winds are north at around 10 knots, and surf zone is clean with minor texture.

Look for winds to die down as the day continues.

It is almost high tide (8:46 a.m.), low tide will be at 3:00 p.m. and the following high tide will be at 9:02 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.7 ft. at 7 seconds in a small, short period east-north-east wind swell.

It looks really fun right now. The high tide has made it slightly mushy as it tends to do, but there are some great sets rolling through. If you can make it out, go for it. Winds are offshore, there isn’t much drift, any board will do. Keep an eye on this afternoon as well because there should be a perfect sunset session with the tide push, and hopefully some warmer sun.

Your National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast for our area calls for: “A cold front will push offshore Monday, followed by high pressure through late next week. Another cold front should arrive early weekend, followed by high pressure heading into early next week.”

It’s 54* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 68* today with sunny skies.

Water temperature is now 60*.

Sunrise is at 6:56 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:17 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
