Another slow day on Folly as its about shin high.

Winds are southwest at 5 knots.

Look for winds to pick up as the day continues.

Tide is going out. Low tide will be at 1:45 p.m. high tide will be at 7:46 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 1.3 ft at 10 seconds in a long-period south-easterly swell.

Today continues the flat spell unfortunately, but it appears we have waves coming Monday into the late week. We should have ridable surf all week with Thursday and Friday as the days to make it out with lighter winds on top of the SE swell.

Your National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast for our area calls for: “High pressure will prevail through Monday. A cold front will push offshore Monday night then return to the north later in the week as low pressure tracks well to the west bringing unsettled conditions to the region.”

It’s a beautiful morning at the beach. It’s 59* and sunny. Look for a high of 70* and sun today. We have beautiful beach weather with not many people around.

Water temperature is 57*.

Sunrise is at 7:07 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:14 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
