Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m.

Come see what’s new for fall in for men and women in flannels and fleece tops from all of your favorite surf brands. We also have new Ocean Surf Shop hooded fleece in stock. All of our neoprene is on the floor as well, so you can keep surfing as it cools off.

Surf at Folly this morning is Knee-thigh high in clean south wind swell.

We have north-west winds at 5-10 knots making for clean conditions.

Look for winds to continue North today at 10 knots.

We have a high tide at 8:42 p.m today, and a low tide will be at 2:47 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 2.6 ft. at 6 in South wind-swell.

Surf has dropped some overnight as expected although still offering a nice clean thigh high peeler every now and again. Looks fun for the logs as winds are straight offshore. This wind-swell continues its fading trend throughout today. This week is looking small until late week a strong cold front could bring some south wind-swell for Friday. This front also looks to bring colder temps! We will keep ya in the loop!

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A cold front will become stationary offshore today before returning north as a warm front mid week. A strong cold front is then expected to move through late in the week bringing much cooler temperatures.”

We have sunshine this morning, It’s 67* currently. Look for a high of 81 and great overall weather here on the edge of America.

Water temperature is still around 72*.

Sunrise is at 7:31 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:35 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
