Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m.

Come see what’s new for fall in for men and women in flannels and fleece tops from all of your favorite surf brands. We also have new Ocean Surf Shop hooded fleece in stock. All of our neoprene is on the floor as well, so you can keep surfing as it cools off.

Surf at Folly this morning is waist-chest high in choppy south wind swell.

We have south winds at 10-to 15 knots, and surf zone is choppy and weak.

Look for winds to continue south today at 15 knots as a front approaches wind could pick up slightly more.

We have a low tide at 1:52 p.m today, and a high tide will be at 8:07 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 5.6 ft. at 6 in South wind-swell.

Surf has picked up some overnight into the waist-chest high range in choppy south wind-swell. Looking pretty soft on this mornings mega-high tide but certainly rideable. Looking further ahead this wind-swell will be on the decline later today and into the early work week. High pressure sets itself back up and could push in some minor trade-swell mid-late work week. We will keep you posted as always.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A cold front will push through from the west later today. The front will meander near the area through mid-week before a stronger cold front pushes offshore Friday.”

We have some clouds mixed with sunshine this morning, It’s 77* currently. Look for a high of 81 and thunderstorms in the area.

Water temperature is still around 73*.

Sunrise is at 7:31 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:35 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
