October 30th at 2nd street east
Good Thursday morning! This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for October 30th at 8:15 am. Today is a day I would unfortunately say is not surfable. You can send it all you want but the lack of power size and organization is the final boss. The waves are just super small and weak and with this chilly breeze from the west after that cool front last night, surfing seems a bit hard to make sense of today.
Winds are 10-15kt out of the West. Winds stay west and gust of 20kt as the day continues. Tons of texture and just overall kind of looks like shit.
Low tide is at 8:29 am, and the high tide follows at 3:02 pm.
Edisto Buoy is reading 3.8 ft at 5 seconds from the W.
No need to rush out today unless it’s an urgent itch you need to fix. The waves are just not it today.
Our friends over at NOAA predict that, “A cool and dry high pressure will build across the region today and will linger through this weekend. A low-pressure system could impact the area early next week”. Let’s cross our fingers this gives us a little bit of a wave to wiggle on.
It’s 53* and windy this morning. Today expect a high of 68* and breezy.
Sunrise was 7:36 a.m. Sunset 6:32 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
