Good morning, this is Annie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, Dec 6th at 8:30 a.m.

We have re-stocked all of our cold water accessories, including booties, gloves and hoods, so come on by when the swell picks up this weekend.
Surf at Folly this morning is flat.
Winds are NNE at 5-10 knots, and the surf zone is clean.
Look for winds to be light and variable throughout the day today.
Low tide is coming up at 9:09 a.m. High tide will be at 3:25 p.m. The next low tide will be at 9:29 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 1.6 ft at 4 seconds in a short period, minimal ground swell.
Our next chance for swell looks like it will take place late this weekend into the work week as another storm system affects our marine area, bringing bigger short-period north-east waves, building overnight tomorrow and into Sunday/Monday. We see on-shore flow into Monday and Tuesday of next week as high pressure sets up off the Mid-Atlantic coast and a warm front lifts north into our marine area. There will likely be some wind on it as a cold front approaches Tuesday evening, but we’re seeing some a chance for some warmer air temps and potential waves early next week.
We have nice weather. It is 53* with sun this morning. Look for a high of 68* today with sun. Water temperature is now 57* Sunrise is at 7:07 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:12 p.m.
