Good morning, this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Saturday, April 13th at 9:00 a.m. Good luck to all the ESA contestants locally and at SE regionals today!
There’re some super weak ankle biters out there this morning if you are into it. May get a little push with the noonish high tide. It is glassy and the weather is beautiful so no reason not to come out to the beach today. Maybe dust that skim board off.
Look for westerly winds around 10 knots with a gusts here and there before noon
We have a high tide at 12:26 pm, low tide is at 6:18 pm
Edisto Buoy is reading 0.7 ft at 13 seconds out of the north.
Pretty small today with the steady flow of westerly winds. High pressure continues and the surf stays pretty flat until mid-work week as south-west winds pick up.
NOAA Marine Forecast: “High pressure will persist through much of next week. A cold front might impact our area late next week.
The water temp is around 67*.
It is 61* and sunny. Look for continued sunshine today with a high of 74*
Sunrise is 6:51 a.m., Sunset 7:48 p.m.
