We Have a few new Torq longboards and fun-boards that just arrived. Get them while we still have a few in stock.

New parking restrictions in place on Folly Beach. Please see the City’s Web site for more information.  Construction taking place to build sea-wall at The Washout, too.

Surf at Folly this morning is around ankle-to-knee high. Might get a little bigger set on the incoming tide, but it is mushy and weak.

Winds are light and variable with high clouds off-shore. Surf is clean this morning.

Look for winds from the south this afternoon at 10 to 15 knots, and we see choppy surf later in the day.

High tide will be at 11:49 a.m., and low tide will be at 5:51 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is only reading 1.6 feet at 9 seconds in medium-period period south-east swell.

We see small surf through the weekend, with mainly small southerly wind-swell in the forecast over the next several days. There is a train of tropical waves coming across Africa this week. We’ll see if any develop, but until then, grab the long-board and enjoy some small, summer-style waves.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A stationary front will linger to the west through the weekend before dissipating. The region will then be positioned between Atlantic high pressure centered offshore and an inland area of broad low pressure.”

It’s 79* with sun, this morning.  Look for a high of 84* and a slight chance for a thunderstorm with hot sun today.

Water temperature is up to 87*.

Sunrise is at 6:38 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:09 p.m.
