It’s a beautiful day on Folly to stop by and grab those last minute gifts and stocking stuffers. Stop by and say hello.
Still a little surf at the pier. Running about thigh high and some nice little lines.
Winds are currently NE at 6 mph surf is clean. Winds will stay out of the NE at around 10 mph and will add a little texture
Low tide is at 10:56 a.m. this morning. Our only high tide will be at 4:57 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is currently reading 4.3 ft at 10 seconds from the ESE.
Surf is still showing, this is the swell that never dies truly amazed. Surfs about thigh-waist high incoming could even further improve it. Looks like a fun day of surf. Swell is fading but gradually is an understatement. Few log waves are around over the weekend as this swell tapers off. Early work week we have a system that could get our surf going again as we get some light onshore flow nothing crazy but should be rideable mid-week knee-waist high range.
NOAA Forecast: “High pressure will remain through this weekend. A storm system could bring impacts to our region early next week. High pressure should then prevail mid to late next week.”
Current water temp: 57*
It is 54* this morning with sun Look for a high of 64* sunny .
Sunrise is 7:18 a.m., Sunset 5:18 p.m.
That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
