meh

Time of Report: 9:00 am
Wave Forecast: knee
Traffic: none
Parking: plenty
Dangers: fog

Good morning, this is Chad with your surf report and forecast for Saturday, Feb 21st 2026 at 9:00 am

Surf is knee high at the pier and not looking too fun. If you are trying to get in the water there are some soft waves that may make it worth it, but for the most part I’m sure there is something its you can find to do today.

Winds are 9 mph out of the southwest. Winds swing to the southeast during the day with similar speeds.

We have a high tide at 10:14, Low tide is 4:24 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is 1.0 ft at 8.3 seconds from the Southeast mixed with a wind swell of 3.3 ft @ 5.9 sec out of the southwest.

Surf is meh today. The high tide is making it soft. Maybe on the mid tide might be a little something to longboard, but not much is expected.  The rest of the weekend is looking pretty flat with dominant westerly winds continuing for the first half of the week.

Our homies at NOAA say: “Low pressure will pass west of the area today with a cold front moving offshore Sunday morning. High pressure will then prevail through much of next week.”

Water temp is 47*, so boots/gloves and a 4/3 suit would be best if you had it.

It’s 60* and foggy this morning. Look for a high of 62* with a chance of rain in the evening

Sunrise was 6:56 a.m. Sunset 6:10 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
