Good morning everybody, this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Saturday, July 13th at 9:00 am.

Surf at Folly is looking pretty fun this morning it is glassy and running thigh to stomach high. As the tide comes in it should pick up some. Right now clean faces and a little dumpy.
Winds is calm and its glassy. Expect winds to pick up out of the south at 5-10 kts today as the day progresses.
Low tide was 7:30 am, high tide fills in around 2:12 p.m. with another low at 8:10 p.m.
The Edisto buoy reads 4.3 at 8 seconds from the ESE.
Definitely some surf this morning on tap. A weak low trying to develop just off our coast along with a strong high pressure over the central Atlantic should keep some surf around for the next few days. Up to waist high sets.
NOAA forecast: “A weak front will meander across the area today. Atlantic high pressure will then rebuild across the area while a surface trough exists inland Sunday through the middle of next week.”
The water temperature is hovering right around 82*.
It’s currently 83* and sunny mixed with clouds. Expect a high of 87* with possible pop up rain in the afternoon. It’s pretty humid out
