Surf at Folly still showing about knee-waist high its clean and looks great for the longboards or higher vol sticks.
Winds are light and variable look for winds to trend more SW later and picking up 10-15mph.
We have a low tide around 9:21 a.m., high tide to follow at 3:57 p.m., We have a low tide at 6:13 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading 3.0ft at 6 seconds from the SSE.
Surf is surprisingly still hanging on. Knee-waist high sets. Surf should tapper off through the remaining/later part of the weekend. Early work week starts out slow. We expect a strong high pressure to move off New England coastline generating onshore easterly winds mid-week that should generate some easterly swell our way waist to belly high range. We also have a strong low that looks to develop in the wester gulf near the Yucatan nothing to get excited about but something to watch as the tropics begin to warm up.
The water temperature is hovering right around 80*.
It’s currently 75 and sunny. Looks like we have nothing but sunshine today, with a high of 89*.
Sunrise 6:11 a.m., Sunset 8:28 p.m.
That’s all from us at Ocean Surf, check back tomorrow.
