We are fully stocked with Catch Surf softboards in all shapes and sizes, as well as Odysea bodyboards. Come check us out when you get to the beach.

Surf at Folly this morning is bad. Not much to take pictures of, unless you can picture wind.

It’s knee-to-thigh and blown out from the north/north-east with gusty, strong winds.

Wind is already humming 15 to 20 knots from the north-east and is expected to reach gale force today with gusts up to 35 knots. Surf is predicted to build but be blown out and choppy today.

We have a low tide at 11:09 a.m., and a high tide will be at 5:24 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 7.2 feet at 6 seconds in a short-period north/north-east wind swell which is building

Surf looks blown out today with strong north/north-east winds 15 to 20 with gusts to 35 knots. This high-angled, north-east wind swell will build into your Sunday. This builds high-angled north-east wind swell for Sunday and Monday. Tuesday to Friday, high pressure builds in over the mid-Atlantic marine area and should push some swell into the beach with mild south winds predicted. Do your errands today, and get ready for some rideable surf next week with favorable tides in the morning and evening. Should be a decent week of surf coming up, and with nice weather.

Folly NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “A strong cold front will push across the waters tonight into early morning today, bringing increasing winds and seas, likely to gale force. High pressure will build over the region behind the front today through Wednesday.”

It’s 63* and overcast this morning. Look for wind with clouds today and the temperatures will stay around 62* with a cold front in our marine area.

Water temp is around 63*. You’ll need a 3/2 and booties at least.

Sunrise is at 7:12 a.m., and sunset is at 7:36 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
