Winds are west 5-10mph and the surf is clean this morning. Looks for winds to remain the same throughout the remainder of the day.

We had a high tide around 8:30 a.m., and low tide is at 2:28 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.6 feet at 9 seconds in medium period E swell.

Surfs backed off a little bit since yesterday Knee-thigh high and slowly fading. High pressure sets up early next week, and we see surf increase again in a drifty north-east wind swell. Honestly, head to Florida early next week, for some fun, rideable surf. Looking more ahead some models are suggesting a low to develop near central Florida further into next week which could potentially bring in a more significant favorable wave maker.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “A cold front will push across the forecast area Saturday night into Sunday, followed by the return of high pressure through the middle of next week.”

Its 70* and mostly cloudy this morning. Look for some sunshine to develop later into the afternoon hours. 77*.

Water temperature is 75*.

Sunrise is at 6:19 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:14 p.m.
