Good morning this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Saturday, November 25th at 8:45 a.m.
It’s Small Business Saturday so stop by and hello. We have a few deals going:
$100 Off Select Boards, 30% Off Women’s Bathing Suits and Men’s Shorts, 10% Off Costa Del Mar and Smith Sunglasses. And Spin da Wheel for other fun deals of the day!
Surf at Folly is pretty weak right now, ankle to knee high. Yesterday evening saw a little improvement on the rising tide so keep an eye on it if the wind cooperates and stays more northerly.
Winds are out of the north/north-east at 10-15 mph. Forecasted to possibly increase and go more north-east around 15 mph
We have a low tide approaching at 12:04 p.m. and a high tide will then follow at 6:08 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 1ft at 8 seconds in an easterly swell. We also have a north-north-east wind swell of 4.3ft at 5 seconds.
Surf is down for the day for the most part. We may get a little clean up swell on Sunday as a front pushes through, maybe in the waist high range. Looking further ahead, high pressure is due to settle back in late weekend into early work week next week and beyond. Good time to get yourself caught up for the holidays.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will extend over the area today. Weak low pressure will pass to the south late Sunday and Sunday night. High pressure is expected to return thereafter and persist through much of next week.”
Water temperature is 63*. Bring your wetsuit.
It’s 52* and sunny with a breeze. We see a high of 60* and sunshine today and breezy.
Sunrise is at 6:58 a.m. Sunset is right at 5:14 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
