Good morning, this is Luke Da kook with your morning, Saturday Sept. 28 surf report and forecast from Ocean Surf.
Festival happening on Folly Center St is closed.
Surf at Folly this morning really fun waist to shoulder high winds went a little more west. Still some drift but overall really fun morning session.
Winds are west south west at 10 mph at the moment forecasted today SSW 10-15mph
Low tide is at 11:30 a.m., and high tide high tide will be at 5:59 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 6 feet at 6 seconds out of the south.
Leftover Helene swell still in the water and its pretty fun shoulder high sets still to be found. Swell continues to fade out over today. High pressure does settle back in and surf should die out pretty good to start our work week. Tropics are our hope for now Tropical storm Joyce out into the central/eastern Atlantic hopefully she comes a little closer to our window. Some other areas NHC are looking at one of which again is near the Yucatan similarly to where Helene was born. For now go surf!
