Saturday Washout

Good morning beautiful people, this is Eazy-E with your Surf report and forecast for Saturday, August 30, 2025. I hate to say it but the waves at the washout and all of folly for that matter are pretty small and weak with some texture from the winds today. If the waves and weather don’t bring you out here maybe our sale in the shop might spark some excitement to come say hey! All surf gear and apparel in the shop is on sale through Monday!

Winds are light out of the E at 5kt. Winds swing up a notch to 10kt but stay mostly from the East until Sunday.

We had a low tide at 6:54 a.m. High tide is at 1:36 p.m., and the next low tide will be at 7:46 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is 3.3ft at 4 seconds out of the SSE.

Our friends at NOAA predict; “A high pressure will extend across the area through early next week while a stationary front lingers just off the coast. A cold front will move through on Thursday”. While this looks to be bringing us some rainy weather lets hope a little bump is somewhere to be found too!

Water temperature is around 82* and dropping, so make sure you get you some reps in before the wetsuits and extra gear begins to show up.

Its 72* and raining out this morning. Look for a high of 80* and not stop rain.

Sunrise was 6:54 a.m., Sunset 7:48 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
