Surf should be ok today in the incoming tide mid-morning surf is in the knee-waist range this morning. Invest 98L off the coast of Florida has begun to move north and east and has begun to impact our marine area. As a result look for a up-tick in swell Sunday into Monday. Also our disturbance just east of the Barbados has been officially named Dorian and is a tropical storm currently. This system is a ways out but is one to watch as models aren’t agreeing on long-term strength. Besides the tropics not a whole lot going on locally over the next few days so all eyes should be on the tropics!

Meanwhile, low pressure is expected to pass well off the Southeast coast. A cold front will impact the region later in the week.”
