Good morning this is Luke with you Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, February 26 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at Folly is basically flat ankle high at best and weak overall.

Winds are light and variable providing clean surface conditions. Winds should remain the same through today.

We have a high tide at 12:47 a.m. and a low tide at 6:50 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 2.3 @8 seconds from the ESE

Surf is pretty flat today trending into Monday.  South-west wind swell should build again ahead of a cold front Tuesday, before cleaning up and rapidly dropping Tuesday afternoon. Pre-frontal wind swells will be the story for most of the week. My eyes are set on a strong low that looks to develop late work week providing some more significant swell we’ll keep you updated as it’s a ways out.

The NOAA Marine Weather forecast for our area calls for: “High pressure will extend across the region into Monday. A cold front will move through the region Monday night into early Tuesday. Another cold front could affect the area late week.”

It’s 62* and cloudy this morning. Look for a high of 74* with clouds mixed with sunshine.

Water temperature is 60*.

Sunrise is at 7:02 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:05 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
