Surf at The Washout is knee-to-thigh high and weak at the morning’s high tide.

It is SUPER foggy out. Looks Ok for the longboard if you need to get in the water.

Winds are from the south-west at 5 knots, and surf-zone is glassy.

Look for increasing south-westerly winds this afternoon at 10 knots, gusting to 20 by early afternoon.

We have a high tide as of report time this morning, and low tide will be at 2:45 p.m. Tide will be high again at 8:48 p.m.

Virtual buoy readings are showing 1.8 ft. at 8 seconds in a small, medium period south-easterly wind swell.

Small, choppy short-period south-west winds swell should begin picking up a bit later this afternoon. Look for increasing, choppy south wind-swell on Monday ahead of a cold front that should move through later Monday night. Swell will shift to the north-east on Tuesday, with windy, choppy, small north-east wind swell moving past our beaches. Another storm system moves through our marine area Wednesday, increasing surf once again for mid-week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will prevail today. A cold front will then push through Monday with a more potent storm system impacting the region Tuesday into Wednesday. High pressure should then return until another storm system possibly impacts the area late week.”

It is 65* this morning with lots of fog. Look for a high of 68* today with sun and clouds mixed this afternoon.

Water temperature is up to 55*.

Sunrise is at 6:47 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:16 p.m.
