Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Sunday, January 21 at 8 a.m.

It’s Flat. No surf and BRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!.

Currently winds are moderate out of the north clean conditions.

Low tide is approaching at 10:52 a.m. High tide will be at 4:45 p.m.,

The Edisto buoy is currently reading 5.9ft at 6 seconds in NNE swell passing our shores.

Not expecting much out there today, it’s pretty small. We see cold temperatures and very cold weather for the weekend through Monday, but get your chores done, because starting late Tuesday through Saturday we expect high pressure to move off of the mid-Atlantic to the east and we should see a really nice Bermuda high pressure wind swell move into South Carolina’s Beaches. Winds will be moderate from the south, and air temperatures are forecast to get warm. So cold water warriors suit up and get ready for some fun waves next week.

NOAA Forecast: “Arctic high pressure will prevail through the weekend. A few upper disturbances could move through early to mid next week.”

Current water temp: 53*.

It’s 24*  with sun this morning. Expect a high of only 43 with sun

Sunrise is 7:21 a.m., Sunset 5:38 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
