Good morning everybody, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, July 14th at 9:00 am
Surf at Folly has dropped a bit since yesterday, knee-waist high and winds are light onshore. Could improve on incoming tide.
Winds is light out of the SSW will pick up later today 10-15mph
Low tide was 8:27 am, high tide fills in around 3:09 p.m. with another low at 9:22 p.m.
The Edisto buoy reads 3.6 at 7 seconds from the ESE.
Definitely some surf this morning on tap. A strong high pressure over the central Atlantic should keep some surf around for the next few days. Up to waist high sets. Tropics have become quite.
The water temperature is hovering right around 82*.
It’s currently 83* and sunny mixed with clouds. Expect a high of 87* with possible pop up rain in the afternoon. It’s pretty humid out
