Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report for Sunday, June 25 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at Folly groundswell has filled in overnight curtesy of Tropical Storm Brets outer bands. Showing waist-belly high with some long walls. Look for gradual improvement when the tide fills in.

Winds are light out of the SW this morning putting a little surface texture to it. Look for winds to gradually pick up 10-15 from the SW later today.

We have a low just before report time 7:34 a.m. high tide will fill in at 2:01 p.m. with another low concluding our day at 7:57 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3ft at 13 seconds in long period SE ground-swell.

Looking pretty fun this morning waist-belly high sets this is a result of tropical Storm Brets outer bands from heading into the Caribbean island chain. Looking ahead, beginning our work week Bret swell should still linger around a bit as that energy begins its fading trend. Although, Tropical Storm Cindy looks to enter our swell window by tomorrow and we can expect a gradual building trend in fresh SE ground-swell.  By late Tuesday early weds. Only thing is models suggesting Cindy wont hang on passed mid-week. Models have her fizziling out just south of Bermuda on Tuesday. Regardless we should see some groundswell from her. Overall our forecast near term is great see ya in the water.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “Low pressure will develop across the region and then prevail into late week.

Water temperature is around 80*

Its 78* plenty of sunshine  this morning. Temps will eventually climb to a high of 85* with sunshine persisting.

Sunrise is at 6:12 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:31 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
