Sunday June 9th

Clean. Choppy this afternoon.

Time of Report: 8 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Flat. Maybe knee.
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Some.
Dangers: None.

Good morning everybody, this is Luke the kook with your surf report and Forecast for Sunday June 9 at 7:45 a.m.

Tons of new gear hitting the shop Floor come check it all out!!

Surf at Folly about knee high at best, looking really weak. Suns out though should be a nice beach day.

Winds are light and variable look for winds to trend more southerly and pick up 10-20mph.

We have a high tide approaching at 10:59 a.m.,  We have a low tide at 4:50 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is reading 1.6ft at 7 seconds from the SE

Surf is on the downside today and into tomorrow. Tuesday we have lots of moisture and unsettled weather carrying into weds. Some models show a low developing but on the weaker side until it lifts further north out of our window. Other than that longshot of hope we don’t have a whole lot on the horizon surf wise. Long range shows a ton of moisture sitting around central and south Florida, homegrown low like Bertha back in May 2020 isnt impossible. If anyone recalls how the storm formed.

The water temperature is hovering right around 79*.

It’s currently 74 and partly sunny. Looks like we have some clouds and a high of 90* today.

Sunrise 6:12 a.m., Sunset 8:23 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf, check back tomorrow.
