Sunday March 10th

Clean.

Time of Report: 9 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Knee-to-thigh.
Traffic: Moderate
Parking: Some.
Dangers: None.

Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Sunday, March 10 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at Folly around knee-thigh high maybe a plus set here and there. Overall its looking a bit weak and suggest taking a higher volume board to get the job done.

Winds are WNW today 10-20mph providing clean surface conditions.

It is high tide at report time. The tide will drop out at 2:57 p.m. Another high tide well after sunset.

Edisto Buoy is reading 5.6ft at 5 seconds from the WNW moving away from our shores. There is a fading out southerly swell still showing at the buoy.

Surf that was generated from yesterdays storm got pretty beat up from last nights offshore winds. Still showing a thigh high wave this Sunday  morning. High pressure does return today and into our work week this will keep the surf down. Im actually not seeing a whole lot of relief on the long term either. Surf looks to be flat for a little while.

It’s 60* with overcast skies, Forecast has sunshine returning later with a high of 69*.

The water temp is around 60*. Its starting to warm up!

The NOAA Marine Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure returns early next week, bringing dry conditions for most of the week.

Sunrise is 6:36 a.m., Sunset 6:23 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
