Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Sunday, March 17th at 8:30 a.m.

New Gary Wilson boards just landed. We have really good stock and the prices are super reasonably priced. They are flying off the racks with the nice weather. Come see what’s new.

Wetsuits at the shop are marked down 20% both 3/2s and 4/3s come get em!

Surf is around flat-ankle high looking really weak overall.

Winds are light west this morning, eventually going WSW around 10-15mph today.

We have a low tide at 9:01 a.m. High tide will be at 2:59 p.m. with a falling tide the remainder of the day to after sunset.

Edisto Buoy is reading 2.6ft at 4 seconds in a short period wind-swell from SSW.

Surf is down and unfortunately we don’t really any relief this work week. Long-range models showing potential surf for Friday of this coming week. As a strong high pressure moves off the NE coast and could produce some onshore flow. We will keep you posted.

The water temp is around 62*. It’s starting to warm up!

Its 60* and partly cloudy this morning, look for a high of 74*. Should be a great beach day.

The NOAA Marine Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A cold front will stall over the region this weekend, before exiting offshore early Monday. High pressure will then return and prevail into Thursday. A storm system could impact the area late in the week.”

Sunrise is 7:27 a.m., Sunset 7:28 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
