Surf at Folly showing ankle to knee high on this mornings high tide sheet of glass.
The wind is NW around 10mph this morning and remainder of today. Clean surface conditions.
We had a high tide just before report time, a low tide at 1:08 a.m., and a high tide at 7:11 p.m. to conclude the day.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 4.6 at 5 seconds from the west moving away from shore. There is still a small swell from the south showing.
Hope you got on it yesterday, surf faded out a lot over night showing knee high at best. Our front that passed through looks to stall some off our coast and increase our winds from the north-east This will build a drifty, high angled north-east wind swell through Wednesday. Thursday, winds come more on-shore, and conditions should get a little better as north-east swell begins to fade.
The NOAA Marine Weather forecast for our area calls for: “Broad high pressure will linger across the region through most of next week. A cold front could affect the area next weekend.”
It’s 45* chilly this morning with sunny skies. Look for temps to begin to climb up to 61 as high with sunshine.
Water temperature fell back to 62*. Brrrrr.
Sunrise is at 7:28 a.m., and sunset will be at 7:28 p.m.
