ood morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Sunday, Mar 24th at 9:15 a.m.

Tons of new gear and boards are in so come check it out!

Wetsuits at the shop are marked down 20% both 3/2s and 4/3s come get em!

Surf has not slowed down, its still chest-head high this morning. Winds are on it pretty good, side offshore out of the NNE resulting in some drifty semi choppy conditions.  Still looks fun though.

Winds are strong NNE veering more ENE later today blowing near Gail 20-40mph.

We had a high tide at 8:19 a.m. Our only low tide will be 2:30 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 11.2 ft at 11seconds from the SE.

Surf again still a strong showing of Chest to head high, the energy/data at the buoy suggesting its not slowing down. The bad news is were receiving near Gail force side offshore winds for most of today. Monday we see a low pressure  that previously interacted with us move offshore NC coastline. This low meanders offshore and models oddly having it move further south… Maybe a 2nd pulse of swell as a result, keep in mind the low looks to loose some steam so milder swell is the call. Rideable surf most of our work week with varying conditions. Another low looks to arrive near the south-east coastline Thursday into Friday. We will keep you posted but plenty of surf in the forecast.

NOAA Marine Forecast: “Low pressure will move away from the area today, then a cold front will sweep through this afternoon. High pressure will build in Sunday through Monday night. A storm system will impact the area Wednesday into Thursday, followed by high pressure.”

The water temp is around 62*. It’s starting to warm up!

Its  55* degrees sunshine mixed with clouds. Look for a high of 60*

Sunrise is 7:18 a.m., Sunset 7:33 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
