Semi-choppy

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: thigh-waist high+
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Some.
Dangers: None

Good morning this is Luke the kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, March 26 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at Folly around thigh-to-waist high with stomach high sets. Its cleaned up a bit from yesterday.

Winds are light out of the south 5-10mph making for overall clean conditions with some surface texture.

We had a low tide at 6:25 a.m. look for the tide to fill back in at 12:24p.m. with a days end low tide at 6:20 P.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.9ft at 6 seconds from the south.

Wind has backed off a bit this morning for our general region and the surf is cleaner than it has been. Showing waist high+ nothing special but enough to get ya wet! It looks like the cold front from yesterday has stalled just offshore and this should help continue this swell into early this week. Mid-week high pressure takes control again of our marine area and surf should dwindle down. Look for another cold front later work week to push in another shot of SSW wind-swell.

The NOAA Marine Weather forecast for our area calls for: “A cold front will approach from the west today, before stalling over the region through early next week. High pressure is expected to return on Wednesday and persist into late week.”

It’s warm this morning. It’s 66* and overcast skies. Look for clouds this afternoon with a high of 70* and some wind.

Water temperature is 63*

Sunrise is at 7:19 a.m., and sunset will be at 7:33 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
