Clean. Choppy this afternoon.
Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report for Sunday, May 19th at 8:00 a.m.
Surf at Folly is knee high, its cleaner this morning with light winds. Not much push but a little log wave on offer.
Currently winds are light and variable becoming East 10-15mph later this afternoon
We have a low tide at 11:47 a.m., and a high tide at 6:14 p.m. today.
The Edisto buoy is reading 2.0 foot at 5 seconds from the SW
Surf is still pretty down at the moment knee high with light winds becoming onshore. Unfortunately not much relief is on the way. This only hope is yesterdays moisture looks to stall south of Bermuda mid-week maybe it can get better organized into a low. But that’s getting a little optimistic. High pressure sits over us much of our work week keeping the surf Down. Pray for surf.
Water temperature is hovering right around 73*, so spring suits and jackets are the call for mornings.
It’s currently 69* and sunny. Today we see a high of 78* and sunny with rain/thunder coming later.
