Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report for Sunday, May 26th at 7:00 a.m.

Some Freshy Orion Surfboards just arrived!! From fishes to logs, come check ‘em out. Lots of new apparel hit the floor this week for Memorial Day weekend!

Surf at Folly is knee high and glassy early this morning.

Currently winds are light and variable. Winds will eventually go SW 5-10 mph and gradually turn to the south.

High tide at 10:30 a.m. We have a low tide at 4:35 p.m.,

The Edisto buoy is reading 2ft from the SE at 8 seconds

Surf is pretty small this morning. There is a small chance for a quick little wave on Monday morning with the onshore flow overnight nothing significant but hopefully enough to get us wet. Not much else on the horizon

From NOAA: “A weak disturbance will move through the area this evening. Hot conditions expected for Sunday and Memorial Day. A cold front could bring impacts to the region Monday night into Tuesday.”

Water temperature is hovering right around 75*, so spring suits and jackets are the call for mornings.

It’s currently 74 and partly cloudy at the beach* Today we see a high of 83* and partly cloudy. Slight chance of rain in the late afternoon/early evening.

Sunrise 6:14 a.m., Sunset 8:19 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf, check back tomorrow.
