Good morning this is Luke the Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, November 26th at 8:45 a.m.

Surf at Folly is pretty weak right now, ankle to knee high.

Winds are out of the north 5-10mph providing clean surface conditions.

We have a low tide approaching at 12:24 p.m. and a high tide will then follow at 7:08 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 5.6ft at 10 seconds in an easterly swell.  Passing our beaches

Surf is still looking pretty weak, knee high at best. Now things do get interesting later today. Im seeing a nice low developing in the northern Gulf, this low slides east today over northern Florida and GA eventually shoving off the SE coast later tonight. That said I do think tomorrow morning could have a nice bump in ESE swell with favorable winds. This swell wont stick around long due to the quick passing of the system. Surf goes flat Tuesday and onwards as high pressure settles back in. Longrange forecast showing a significant system interacting with our marine area late work week into early weekend next week. For now our shot of hope in the short-term is tomorrow morning.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “Weak low pressure will pass to the south late afternoon and tonight. High pressure is expected to return thereafter and persist through much of the week until a front approaches next weekend.”

Water temperature is 63*. Bring your wetsuit.

It’s 52* and overcast. We see a high of 58* and rain moving in later today.

Sunrise is at 6:58 a.m. Sunset is right at 5:14 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
