Good morning this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, Oct 30th at 9:00 a.m. There will not a be a Monday report, this neither a trick nor a treat. See below for Monday forecast.

Waves at The Washout are running around waist high. It’s not as clean as yesterday morning but still clean faces. It looks like it has a little more juice than the past few days. Hard to tell because no one is out. Seems worth going out if you want to get some salt water on ya.
Winds are north/north-east at 15 knots with gust to 17 knots and surf zone is pretty clean.
Winds are forecasted are expected to stay north -northeast at 10-15 knots.
High tide is at 12:28 pm., and low tide will be at 6:49 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.3 feet at 10 seconds in a medium period east swell mixed with a 5.9 feet and 6.7 seconds wind swell out of the east/north-east.
Looks like a little of this easterly swell is trying to push in today. We expect it to maybe get a little bigger if the winds go more northeast but expect some chop to it. Tomorrow will likely see a little increase In swell. If you are feeling antsy looks like heading south is a good call this week. There is some tropical activity in the south Caribbean and off the NC coast, but we don’t expect too much from either here.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our area currently calls for: “A weak disturbance will bring unsettled weather to our area through Monday. High pressure will then prevail across the region the rest of this week.”
Water temperature is running around 69*, dude!
It’s 63* and a drizzle. Look for a high of 68* and light showers throughout the day.
Sunrise is at 7:33 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:33 p.m.
