We still have a mandatory mask ordinance in effect for Folly Beach.
Surf at Folly is knee-high. Maybe slightly larger, but not much. It’s pretty small today, so bring the longboard if you want to get wet.
Winds are north at 5 knots, and conditions are clean this morning.
Look for winds to remain light from the north-east today at around 5 to 8 knots, going south late. Surf stays relatively clean today.
Low tide is at 11:12 a.m., and high tide will be at 5:48 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is down, but virtual buoy is showing 3.5 ft at 5 seconds in a building, short-period south/south-east wind swell.
Small trades swell lingers around knee high until mid-week we see an approaching cold-front push choppy wind-swell surf back up into the waist to belly high range Tuesday. Not too much surf is forecast this week, as tropics have gone quiet for the time being.
Your NOAA forecast “Weak high pressure offshore today. A warm front will lift north through the area late tonight into Monday. A cold front will shift through the region Tuesday into early Wednesday, followed by high pressure through late week.”
