Good morning, this is Luke da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop Surf Report and forecast for Sunday, September 22.

Surf around Folly knee-waist high glassy this morning and looks fun. Winds will eventually come up slightly out of the south.

Winds are currently light, winds will pick up slightly SW later today around 10mph.

Edisto buoy reading 3.9 ft @10 sec from the E.

We have a high tide at 12:00 this afternoon, low tide will be at 6:33 p.m.

Remnants of Gordon still spinning way out in the Atlantic shoving a fun pulse of Easterly groundswell. Looks like fun this morning, and should trend into tomorrow before loosing its steam. Further ahead all eyes should be on the Gulf as we have an area near the Yucatan I mentioned a few days ago. Its getting better organized and looks to eventually head north into the Florida Panhandle. That said expect Southerly winds to pick up Thursday/Friday and surf should build pretty quickly. Well talk about the cleanup session as things progress early week. Also a few areas to watch in the Eastern Atlantic late work week. Weve got potential solid surf coming late work week! Wax em up.

Its Sunny out with a little breeze today. Currently its 69* with a high of 81*.

Sunrise is at 7:07 a.m., Sunset 7:21 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
