Good morning, this is Charlie bringing you your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, February 18th at 8:30 a.m.

We still have a selection of items on sale with discounts up to 75% off. Stop by the shop and check them out.

Surf at Folly is around knee-high with some occasional bigger sets rolling in. The conditions are super clean with offshore winds. It’s definitely worth getting out there before noon, as the winds will switch and the tide starts to fall. Looks fun for a higher volume board.

The winds are currently coming from the NNE at 9 mph with gusts up to 13 mph. In the afternoon, expect the winds to shift to the ENE at 14 mph with gusts reaching up to 20 mph.

We had a low tide early this morning at 5:18 a.m. The next high tide will be at 11:14 a.m., followed by a low tide just before sunset at 5:13 p.m.

There’s nothing too crazy out there today, but it still looks fun. The offshore winds are holding steady, and they’re expected to remain consistent through Thursday. This could mean more days like today with clean conditions and perfect for a higher volume board.

Edisto Bouy is reading 3 feet at 10.8 seconds in an ESE medium period swell.

Our guys and gals at NOAA predict a “High pressure will build into the area today. A coastal low will track northeastwards off the Georgia/South Carolina coast on Wednesday, with high pressure returning at the end of the week.”

The water temperature is around 58*.

It’s currently 47* and Sunny. Expect some clouds in the afternoon with a high of 55* for the day.

Sunrise was at 6:58 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:08 p.m.

Thanks for tuning in for the Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
