We have a new shipment of Stewart Epoxy boards at the shop, including Redline 11 and 2Fun models. Come check them out.
Waves at The Washout this morning are knee-to-thigh high with a waist set.
Winds are east at 15 knots, and surf zone is choppy.
Winds will stay about the same all day. Look for winds from the east today at 10 to 15 knots.
Tide is coming in. High tide will be at 12:16 p.m., and low tide will be at 6:20 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 2.3 feet at 8 seconds in a south/south-east swell, with an easterly short-period wind swell 3.3 feet at 5 seconds.
We should see choppy surf today average thigh-to-waist high. High pressure keeps easterly winds in the forecast through Sunday, and we will see a lazy trade wind swell average thigh-to-waist high (plus-or-minus) for the period, with semi-choppy conditions. Not anything out of this world, but some rideable surf and beautiful spring weather in the forecast through Sunday.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our area currently calls for: “High pressure will prevail across the region through early next week.”
It’s currently 64* and sunny at the beach. Look for a high of 70* and sun with a few clouds this afternoon.
Water Temperature is around 68*.
Sunrise is at 6:42 a.m., and sunset will be at 7:53 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
