Good morning. This is Eazy E with your surf report for Thursday, August 8, 2024

Surf at Folly is FLAT!!! The surf looking extremely weak this morning and I would go as far as saying its not even ridable.

Winds are light south-west that should eventually pick up 10kt later today.

We just came off a early am High tide, a low tide around 12:02 , High tide is at 6:44 p.m.

The Edisto buoy reads 2.3 feet at 4seconds in WSW wind-swell.

The surf is looking super small, weak and every other factor that makes it not so fun out there today. Possibly the smallest I have seen it all year deeming it flat. Our guys over at NOAA predict a “High pressure in the Atlantic and a trough across the Southeast will prevail through the weekend”. Possibly giving us a tiny bump but don’t hold your breath.

It’s currently 80* with no chance of thunderstorms. Look for a high of 89* and not a cloud in the sky. Bring your sunscreen today folks!
