Thursday December 7th

Clean.

Time of Report: 8 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Flat.
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Yes.
Dangers: None

Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Thursday December 7th at Sunrise

Surf is Flat Lake Atlantic.

Winds are north-west at 15 mph keeping it real small.

We had a low tide at 9:19 a.m. High tide is back at 3:16 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is currently reading 4.6ft at 7 seconds I ENE wind-swell moving past our shores.

Not much in store for today. This trend continues for the rest of our work week and beginning of our weekend. We should get some surf Sunday from a approaching front look for winds to come strong SSW on Sunday building our surf up, the bummer is the timing models currently having the front push through Sunday night rotating our winds offshore so praying we have some leftovers Monday morning.

NOAA Forecast: “High pressure will build in today and then prevail through Saturday. A cold front will cross the area on Sunday, followed by high pressure early next week.”

Current water temp: 62*.

It’s sunny and 42* this morning. We have a high of 57* and sunshine with a breeze today. It’s a  beautiful December day at the beach.

Sunrise is 7:07 a.m., Sunset 5:13 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
