Good morning, this is Brad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Thursday, February 4 at 8:30 a.m.

New Billabong men’s and women’s apparel and board-shorts have arrived for spring. Come check them out!

Surf this morning is flat.

Winds are north, north-west at 0-5 knots. Surf zone is clean, waves are weak and ankle to shin at most.

Look for winds to shift south, south-west at 5-10 knots by afternoon. Surf stays small, and surf-zone stays textured.

High tide is at 12:58 p.m., and low tide is at 7:09 p.m.

Buoy readings aren’t worth mentioning. All swell is headed east of our beaches.

Surf looks to remain small into tomorrow morning, as high pressure sets up over our marine area. We should see another south wind swell as a cold front approaches Friday, bring some bigger, choppy south-west wind waves with overall poor conditions. On Saturday expect to see a quick dip before a forecasted larger swell on Sunday, due to another storm system moving into the area. Hopefully winds remain low, but with the weather expectations, it’s likely we will see some harsh movement out in the lineup. Surf should pick up again in south swell, as a low moves off-shore to start the work week, but we’ll keep you posted.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: High pressure will prevail today. A cold front will cross through the area Friday, followed by another storm system Saturday night. The weather pattern appears to become unsettled next week.”

It is a cold 36* with sun this morning. Look for a nice beach day with a high of 55* and plenty of sun today.

Water temperature is 52*.

Sunrise is at 7:11 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:56 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
