Semi-choppy

Good morning everybody, this is EAZY E with your surf report and Forecast for Thursday, June 13^th at 8:45 a.m.

Surf at Folly is around stomach high, tons of chop and wind to add texture to the wave face too.

Winds are moderate out of the NE around 10kt and up to 15 kt with gust of 20kt this afternoon. Looks like a small chance of showers and thunderstorms are on tap for today.

We have a low tide at report time, a high tide approaching at 2:09 p.m., finishing the day with a another low tide at 7:59p.m.   

The Edisto buoy is reading 4.6ft at 7 seconds from the SSE.

Surf is trying to pick up some but will have some chops and bump on it for sure. We should get ourselves some semi choppy decent surf.  Our friends over at NOAA predict; “A stationary front will meander near or just off the coast through the end of the week. A weak cold front will drop into the forecast area early this weekend before high pressure spreads in from the north”.

The water temperature is hovering right around 82*.

It’s currently 81 degrees and partly sunny. Looks like we have some clouds and a high of 82* today.
