Clean.

Time of Report: 9:15 am
Wave Forecast: Knee-Thigh+
Traffic: None
Parking: Plenty.
Dangers: None.

Good morning, this is Charlie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report for Thursday, Oct 24th at 9:15 a.m.

We have our boardshorts and bikinis marked down at least 20%. We have a great selection so stop on by and enjoy this warm weather.

Surf at The Pier is thigh high or so. No one out right now. The pier looks like it has a lot of potential as some water gets under the surf as the tide comes in. Same for washout although not as big as yesterday with the fading swell.

Winds are north west at 5-8 knots, and it’s keeping conditions clean. Surf zone should stay fairly clean today. Winds will be variable and light all day. Morning is the cleanest

We had a low tide this morning at 7:56 am. High tide will be 2:33 pm., and a low tide at 8:54 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 3 feet at 8.3 seconds in medium period E-ESE swell.

Should be a fun little wave out there this morning as the tide comes in.

Our guys over at NOAA predict that a “High pressure will remain the primary weather feature across the region through Saturday. A cold front will move through Saturday night, followed by cool high pressure from the north.”

Swell is dropping but could have some fun waves as the tide comes in around noon. Conditions should be overall clean for the period with north winds going south and variable late week. Hope everyone caught a few fun ones yesterday. Surf fills in from the north-east in drifty, unappealing wind-swell starting Sunday.

It’s 67* and Sunny. We see a high of 77*. It’s a great day to be on Folly!

Sunrise is at 7:31 a.m., Sunset 6:36 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast. #follybeach #surfreport #tinyswellleft
