Good morning! This is EAZY-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Thursday, August 15, 2024.
The surf seems to be super small and weak still as we wait for this run of swell to hit us. Super clean and calm conditions but not a lot on tap for wave size and power, therefore, not a ton of fun to be had today unless tons of volume is involved.
Expect N winds today 5-10 kt becoming more East and increasing to 15kt later today.
Low tide is at 10:26 am, high tide today will be at 5:08 pm.
Edisto buoy is showing 3.6 ft at 6 sec in a shorty period E swell.
Still not much on the table for surfing today but should have a fun run of swell starting to show up here soon. Our boys at NOAA predict that a “High pressure will build in from the north through late week. Another cold front may approach the area early next week, then remain nearby through late week”.
Sunset is 8:06 pm, sunrise is 6:44 am.
It’s 77* and sunny with a high of 84* and 0% chance of rain today. Come on out it’s a nice one!
