Thursday Pier
Top of the mornin’ to all of you beautiful people, Eazy-E here with your Folly surf report and forecast for the pier. It’s Thursday, October 23, 2025, and the waves at the pier seem to be pretty small and weak, around the shin-knee high range. Not a whole lot of energy out in the line up today unfortunately and brisk feel to the air as well. Two big things that most surfers hate to hear, but hey, don’t shoot the messenger! On the other hand, today seems to be another beautiful day so make sure you try your best to enjoy some outside air.
Everything is starting to cool down so make sure you get your wetsuit needs before it’s too late!
Winds are north at 5kt with increasing gust of 10kt and switching to more SW as the day prevails. We have a high tide this morning at 9:41 p.m., and a low tide at 3:47PM.
Edisto Buoy is reading 2.6 ft at 4 seconds coming from WNW.
Our friends over at NOAA predict that, “A high pressure will prevail through the weekend, then an upper disturbance will move through early next week. A strong cold front could move through during the middle of next week”. Thus, the future of fun juicy surfing is not favorable for the local stoke machines that want the opposite.
It’s 57* today with a high of 70* Gorgeous out!
Sunrise was 7:31 a.m. Sunset 6:39 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
