Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast Thursday, April 2nd at 8:45 a.m.

Waves at the pier look fun in the knee to waist high range. The SE winds at 5-10kt does not seem to be affecting the faces or the wave in the slightest. Waves look fun!! More fishy or log style waves for sure, but tons of wiggle opportunities out there!

We have a high tide at report time. Low tide at 2:49 p.m., and the next high tide will be at 9:20 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3 ft at 9 seconds from the SE

Our friends at NOAA predict, “High pressure will extend across the local waters through the first half of the weekend”. Thus, it looks like a solid weekend of fun surfing and nice weather.

It’s 66* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 71*

Water temp is around 63*. You’ll need a 3/2, although it’s starting to warm up.

Sunrise is at 7:07 a.m., and sunset is at 7:41 p.m.
