Good morning everyone, this is Eazy E with your Thursday, August 8, surf report and forecast.

Surf at Folly has faded from the epic and fun chest to head high surf we saw the last two days.

Winds are currently moderate/strong SW around 15-20 kt.

We have a high tide approaching at 11:13 a.m. a low tide will eventually drop out at 5:06 p.m.

Edisto buoy is reading 6.9ft at 9 seconds from the ESE

Surf at folly is pretty much nonexistent today with the dropping swell and pretty harsh SW winds expected to blow all day. The guys over at NOAA predict that “Debby will lift northward away from the region today. A weak front will then stall in the vicinity late week into early next week”.

Mostly sunny today with a 50% of rain showers. A high of 83* today and not so crummy outside! Everyone please be safe with clean up and pray we see some fun surf like yesterday again soon!
